I have over 17000 miles on my Powerdyne supercharger. And i must say it is the est 2000 dollars i have spent. I did install the 8psi pulley. And at WOT and 5200 rpm it is pushing about 7psi and when it is real cold it is 7.5. I will tell you my truck weighs 5520 with me in it and 1/4 tank of gas. I have a G-tech Pro and have run many 0 to 60 in the high 6s the best at 6.59. The 1/4 mile times are in the high 14s most of the time. It says the HP is in the low 300s. I have had a blast palying with this thing> I live in SW Va and there are a lot of trucks. I have race many of them and have yet to be beat. Over 20 wins at least against any thing from an S10 to a Z71 454. To night i race a Mustang GT with a 302 that sounded really hot. We palyed with each other for a few blocks and finnaly got a red light together. He looked at me and i motioned for him to go for it. The light turned green and we both got about an even jump. he started to pull away from me by maybe 3 ft or so and at that point i was feeling he might get me. about the time we shifted to second the F150 started pulling hard and by the time mine shifted to second i had a half length and continued to i had a full lenght and we both backed out. I was tickled to say the least. He pulle up and gave me a thumbs up and took off and i was feeling great. I will tell any one looking at superchargers to go ahead you will be glad. So far 17000 miles and the Powerdyne is working flawless. It does what they claim.

Aren't Powerdyne's Centrifugal? And is that price for the ENTIRE kit? Haven't found a magnacharger kit for under DOUBLE that!!!

ToDaBone and jackhel got a great deal, but I have never seen a PD for that cheap! PD kits for the Mustang can / do sell that cheap everyday, but I would expect a guy would pay $2300-2500 for the truck kits. I'm not sure if you have one, but get a bypass, your head unit will thank you. I don't think the base kits on the Mustanf come with one, but I believe the truck kits do? It's nothing more that a Bosch heater bypass valve. All the centrifugals manufacturers use it, or offer it, except they charge double for it!


BlownHarleyFord, send me an email when you get a chance. If you set a Magnacharger kit next to a PD kit you'd see the difference!

Yeah I got lucky when I got mine, they were going to charge me like 2200 dollars for it. But at the time they were having some kind of sale.

White Trash, is there somewhere I can order that Bosch heater bypass valve, without having to pay $150 bucks for one. I have been meaning to get one, but have really never gotten around to it.

If your parts store doesn't have, or can't get one, try a BMW delaership. This will probably save you a $100 or so that Powerdyne / Vortech want for the EXACT same part.
