Question Fipk

thanks for answering my ?'s about the fipk, i would like o hear what people would have to say about getting one, the prices including installation and what other mods would be good on a 1998 5.4 that would not be too expensive?

Welcome !! There are several air box elimination kits for your application. Click here www.f150world.com/tenArchive.asp then click on each of the highlighted areas on the first 3 articles. You'll see the information there. As far as performance mods on a budget go, I'd start on these 3 and in this order: Superchip, airbox elimination kit, exhaust upgrade. These make a very effective combination without breaking the bank. Good Luck !!

installation

as for installation...i would suggest doing it yourself. i had never really done any installations before and this was no problem for me. just read and re-read the directions before you start and you should not have a problem. good luck.

I isntalled the K&N FIPK it took about an hour the tough part is putting the tubes together.... I makes a diiference in performance.... Plus it sounds good...
