Got my short block back from the shop today.

I got my 5.4 short block back from the shop that rebuilt it for me. Had 130K on it. Don't all the 5.4 come with teflon coated hyperwhatchamacallit pistons? He said that my pistons had a lot of play at the ahhhh sugar!!! Where the piston connects to the rod. That bearing. I'm spacing out tonight. So I needed new pistons. He was suprised that it came with a forged crank. Anyway, it's done, clean, and painted. Just in time to put it in the truck and sell the damn thing. I love my truck, really. Just have to go back to school to learn something useful this time. LOL. I'll post a pic in a little while. Any comments about the pistons?

Wrist pin would be the term that you are looking for. Yes all 5.4's come with the hypeuretic pistons...supposed to be better but I dont have any real personal knowledge/experience with them.

Why are you selling it?

I want to go back to school primarily. Secondly, I want to move to Cali where I can use my Mustang year round. Otherwise, I'd keep it. And yeah, wrist pin, that's it.
