Cool

Don't forget the big thanks to Ford for making an uncleanable engine, I'm glad I have the previous design. What a pain in the butt! Glad you got it fixed finally!,,,,98

pgh_medic,

After this occurred on previous vehicles, and before I washed the engine compartment, I started wrapping electrical components in plastic with rubberbands! ha!

Yep, plastic wal-mart bags, rubber bands, and duct tape whenever I do mine. Just to be safe I covered coil packs (just 2 on mine), alt, a few connectors that I knew would direct spray, and the fuse/relay box. I think next time I will stuff a towel in around each plug hole as well. Heck, by the time I am done covering there is nothing left to wash.
