Talking Computer?

I have had my battery unhooked for about a week, does my truck's computer have to be reset? Does my truck even have a computer?

aligar, Yes your truck does have a computer
and once you put the battery back in and drive it the computer will relearn itself.
You may notice that it running a little
diffrent because it will default back to
factory settings, But after a few miles of
driving it should be fine.

Question

I was reading in another message board and saw that a tech had posted. The computer is like a hard drive, no matter how long you leave the power off it will not loose settings.

he was wrong, u loose your kam memory (keep alive memnory) which contains your fuel trim adjustments, ect, thus u can sometimes experiece drivabilty problems, but rare, usually only on high mile vehicles

Oh, I just had my clutch replaced and its idling rough... I thought the clutch was out of balance???? I have driven about 50 miles since and the truck has 118,000. I cant tell if its a vibration or rough running. Any advice????
