Post Engine Upgrades

Just bought a F150 Lariat with the 5.4 liter. Love the power and it sounds pretty good just stock. Was wondering how much power the FIPK really creates. Honesty please, no exagerations. Also will a good cat back exhaust system make more power, I dont want anything real loud though. TIA for your responses.

I've got a 4.6 and I installed a FIPK, didn't notice any power improvement, not to say it isn't there. It's nice to have a air filter that just need to be cleaned instead of buying a new one, and I like how it looks instead of that stock air intake system.

Now as for exhaust, I noticed a slight decrease in low end, but a noticable improvement at higher rpms, especially when passing people on the highway.

Cool

They claim it's dynoed at 12-14HP; so probably less. K&N e-mailed me 2-4%HP on filter only; 5-7%HP on FIPK.
