Howling/Whistling noise

Howling/Whistling noise
Upon moderate to heavy acceleration my 4.6L V8, 2001 SuperCrew 4x4, automatic, makes a howling/low pitched whistling noise. I assume this is not a normal characteristic of this engine? Otherwise, it runs fine.

Could be tire related i had 285/75/16 tires on mine and it didnt make no noise on acceleration but i just had 305/70/16 put on it and know i have like a wurring sound on take off then it goes away. does yours do it at all times or just takeoff?
