Post Fan Belt Replacement, Need HElp ASAP

Having trouble putting the fan belt on, need to know how to bring up the belt tensioner so I can get the belt to fit.

Use a 1/2 inch drive breaker bar. Put square end into the tensioner hole, flex it back against its internal spring to get the belt on. I would expect that is how you got the old belt off, unless you just cut it off. Compare new and old belt length to be sure you got the right one. The old one would have strechted, but just a little bit, because there are steel cords inside, won't stretch much.

There is a small diagram for the belt rounting under the hood. Looks strange but it works. It might be easier if you get one person to hold the tensioner and the other to put on the belt.
For safety sake make sure all fingers are out of the way before letting up on the tensioner.

I figured it out, the problem was I didn't have the right size breaker bar, so I went to Home Depot and picked up the breaker bar and it took about a minute, very easy. If only I didn't sit there trying to figure something else out for about an hour.

Thanks
