4.6L with mods ?

Question 4.6L with mods ?

still trying to decide on the 4.6 vs 5.4 motor

will the 4.6L with a chip, K&N and cat back exhaust come close to the HP and torque numbers of the 5.4L stock?

I've driven both motors and the 4.6L seems to be louder in the cab than the 5.4...anybody else experience this?

Yep, I did. 4.6l sounds like its working at 10k rpms when its only at 4

yeah that's was my initial impression too...turning 10k rpms when its only at 4

HI!... BFRANKLIN : Definately go with the 5.4. Just imagine if you did those same mods to a 5.4!!! The 4.6 with those mods would make about 265H.P. The 5.4 with those same mods would make about 305H.P. I have freinds with the 4.6 and they don't get any better gas milage over the 5.4.

Remember me? I finally ordered the 5.4l over the 4.6l. Of course, payment went up about 10 bucks, but no biggie! Ill be torching those tires with ease now
