Ordering Amsoil online?

I was wondering if any of ya'll have had problems ordering amsoil online....I ordered some on 3/31 and I still haven't gotten any confirmation regarding my oil and filters and it has been 4 days now. Has anyone else had this problem? Should i just replace my order assuming the first one was never placed or does it just take this long to get a confirmation from amsoil?
thanks,
sarah

Don't resend!!

If you resend the order they will probably double ship it.

I don't know exactly who you ordered it through, but the Amsoil website is not automatic. They have to get the order off the web and the transfer it by hand to their computer system, then it will get shipped. I think they only have 1 or 2 people that do that. So it could be backloged.

Call 1800-777-7094. This is the order line, they should be able to find the order

Tell them when you ordered and what you ordered and see if they can find the order.

They are having some growing pains. So a little paitents should be in order. The just put in a brand new computer system and well,,, we all know how those work right off the bat!

If you have any problems they can't solve send me an email and I'll see what I can do.

I ordered from the Amsoil web-site, and also I did not get an acknowledged via e-mail, but 4 days later, the UPS box showed up at my work. I was very happy with the response.

They had problems a couple of months ago to. I'd call to check. Once you order though, it's quick!! Lucky me, there is a distribution center here in Dallas so mine take 1 day!!

It was a lot cheaper just to find a Auto Parts store that sells Amsoil than it is to order online. You pay full retail plus shipping and tax...........Auto Parts Store 5-10 cents under retail plus tax.

Nobody locally seems to carry the stuff, so I've ordered online twice. 14 quarts both times. Got here before I new it. Ahead of schedule, I believe. Came in a nice sturdy box too. Good for storing junk in.

Your order should come out of Richmond, I get mine next day!! So yours should be at least 2day's or better.

Give them a call on monday. they will straighten it out and have it to you by wednesday at the most.

Last Saturday, I heard Gus Garage, he suppose to be a guru on car repairs, etc. He stated that Amsoil is missing one of the requirements from Ford i.e dont quote me "API" or some kind of label. Please check all the specifications on Amsoil, and check your Ford manual. Your warranty could be in jeopardy if something happens to your engine, and the Ford technician finds out that your oil did not have the specific specifications.

From AMSOIL website FAQ:

Q: How long have AMSOIL lubricants been on the market?

A: AMSOIL introduced the first synthetic motor oil with an API (American Petroleum Institute) Service Classification in 1972. Since that time, AMSOIL has varied and expanded its product line.

And also:

Q: Will AMSOIL Motor Oils void the warranty of a new vehicle?

A: Absolutely not! Manufacturers’ warranties are based upon the use of oils meeting specific API Service Classifications, for example, SJ/CF. (AMSOIL lubricants meet the current API Service requirements and, thus, are perfectly suited for use in any new vehicle without affecting the validity of the new vehicle warranty.)

If you are from Northern VA, you know who is Gus Garage, and his local tv and radio program. I am stating what he said on the radio. Only my 2 cents.
