Post Resetting the computer

I used a electronic shift improver on my 95 F-150 5.0L and it quit working. Now my computer shifts hard all the time, especially into overdrive. Does anyone know how to reset the computer on this truck? Thanks.

If it is anything like the newer F150's what you have to do is turn on the headlights and disconect the battery for about 15-30 minutes.
I have never reset a pre 97 computer, but I bet it works the same. It will then take a few days for the computer to relearn your driving habitts. So don't friek if it drives a little different the first day or so.
Good Luck

Also I am getting all pumped up for the 2001 NASCAR season
