Question Mass Airflow Sensor and Throttle body spacer

I am thinking about adding a Granatelli Mass Airflow sensor and a Poweraid throttle body spacer to my 5.4L. Does anyone have any experience with or comments about these two units?

From what I've heard about these two items I wouldn't do either. You would have to have a heavily modified engine for the factory MAF sensor to be restrictive. As for the Poweraid,I've heard they have little or no effect,to the point where some say they make nice paperweights, and supposedly make a whistling noise to boot. You can ask Mike Troyer,in the Computer Chips forum about the MAF sensor. He knows more about it than me,but I have heard him tell others the same thing,,,,,,98
