Question Do the 4.6's have as many pass side oil leaks as the 5.4's ??

I have a 1999 4.6 with 8000 miles it looks dry but am I apt to have the pass oil leak problems that the 5.4 has ? How many of the 4.6 have it compared to the 5.4 ?

Keep in mind that there are 2 distinct versions of the 4.6: The Romeo Engine Plant and the Windsor Engine Plant. There are detail differences between the two, and you can tell which engine you have by the VIN. I uspect the engine origin and the related parts suppliers are are correleated to the trouble levels. FWIW, all of the 5.4's are Winsor.

And I'm glad my 98 has a REP motor...
