Cool With this weather, the L is making mad power.

Drove the red beast to work today, suffering from withdraw. Temp was reading 30 on the overhead console this morning.

Turned onto the 540 on ramp, goosed it pretty good at about 15 mph and the rear end started to wiggle. Holy supercharger batman!

On the way home temp was 49, still making mad power. Got the distinct and rare (I might add) pleasure of being first inline at 2 stoplights in a row. First time was a side by side with a Saturn in the left lane. He mistakenly thought that he might beat me to the merge (LOL, fool)

Next light he was behind me (single lane now)and I thought he (and about 20 other cars) might still need a proper Lightning 0-60 demonstation. I promise you this guy understands what an SVT F150 is now. But I doubt he knows what the front end looks like, because all he or anyone else ever saw was my tailgate. (Hehe)

I swear the most fun I have ever had in a vehicle is being in the L first in line at a stoplight. If I nail it, by the time I am going 50 and look back, I'll be at least a football field ahead of everything.

Despite the expected, but yet to come leak and the clunk I already have, I still go gaga everytime my foot hits the pedal.

48-55 degrees is cold? You guys don't know what cold is until you live in the midwest. Temps here have been -10 for the past month. Can't imagine what it would be like at colder temps further north. That's about the temp that molucular motion ceases I think. I have lived in California and the temps there seemed like a heatwave compared to here. The true test of an engine is to run it at subzero temps. I can feel for it when it groans and complains about starting up.
