I have a 1992 f150. I ned to set the timing and need to locate the in-line spout connector to do so. Can anyone tell me exactly where it is on this truck? Thanks

Crash! is right on. However, some models aren't at the distributor. I would think the truck's is but don't be suprised if it's not. My Mustang had it on the passenger wheel well. Don't forget to put it back in before you take off!

On my old '93 w/5.0, the SPOUT connector was on the drivers side fenderwell about a foot from the firewall. It was a grey plug and did initially have some black tape around it.

There is no single place to look. Ford didn't seem to have a "standard" back then. I think the SPOUT plug location depends on whether the ICM is located on the distributor or remotely (near firewall). Speaking of the ICM, be sure to note the "color" (blue/grey). If something ever happens, you may need to know!
