The size of the oil filter for the 5.4 seems small. Does anyone know of a larger filter I can use? Has anyone used the AC Delco Ultraguard Gold filters ?? Thanks for the info.

 

Use the Amsoil SDF 11 filter...www.amsoil.com

 

Is the Amsoil SDF 11 physicaly larger than the stock filter ? Do you also use Amsoil oil? I use Mobil 1 5w30.

 

I bought a AC Delco PF1250,it is the same size as a Motorcraft FL820.

 

Yes, I use Amsoil Series 2000 0W30 synthetic & change oil/filter every 10k miles...Mark
