Question Engine Dress-up

I just have a simple question. I was wondering what type of paint could be used to dress up the engine, Like the manifold cover, etc. I was thinking of airbrushing them with acrylic, but wasn;t sure about the heat.

Cool

I would get some high temp engine paint from your local parts house. Then use the paint in your airbrush. Using any other paint would just crack and peel from the heat. I haven't done this but I will be giving this a try in the future.
