Airbox Question
Hey guys,
in some of your signatures I noticed it says "modified airbox." What do you guys do for modification. I'm assuming this modification is in lieu of an FIPK. Does the performance come close to an FIPK? Thanks.

Look under Technical Articles, scan down to Air Box Modifications. There is a step by step guide with photos. Everybody seems to think the after market FIPK give better results.

I modified mine first while waiting for the proper FIPK to come out. The FIPK made a huge difference over the modified OEM one.

This may help you out also.
Pretty much all you do is remove the stock piece between the throttle body and the airbox.Replace it with 3 inch pvc pipe.(the stock one is really restrictive)You also remove the rubber part that goes between the airbox and the fenderwell and replace it with a peice of 3 inch pvc pipe(stock piece might have a 2inch inside diameter)These mods allow the motor to breathe easier, wich means more power.Hope this helps
