new thermostat
would it help any in my 97 4.6 to put in a 180 thermostat? when i got my superchip, mike said that the best thermostat to run in there was the stock one.....however, my buddy with a chevy TBI 350 just put a 160 thermo in his and it really helped!!!! i was just wondering if bumping mine down a notch might help

well thats why i want to know! you can tell by my signature that i race....i would say putting in his 160 thermostat took off a tenth or two....i was just wanting to know, mostly from NEAL in particular, if a 180 thermostat would make an extra HP for me
