I have not heard of the mac or anyone using it

maybe there is a reason nobody is using it or it is still pretty new

However, I have the air raid system and I like it alot. noticed a decent increase.

Looks like the same thing to me - all they are is a tube and a filter - not rocket science here. I'd go for the cheaper one...

Arrow I've got a MAC

I have had my MAC intake for over 6 months now without any problems. I would think the gains are comparable to the other intakes out there. I got mine directly from MAC for $139 (with free shipping since it was on backorder at the time). Someone brought up the topic of rust developing inside the tube (since its not made from stainless steel) but I have yet to see any. I guess its up to you whether you want to pay more for some piece of mind in a plastic or stainlees kit.

The Airaid tube seems to have a larger diameter and the rubeer joints are different . I just wonder what affects heat would have on the joints . Is the Mac CARB certified ?
