Post Rough Running When Cold

Hi All,

This is a re-post of previous topic. I have a 98 f150 4.6l engine, 67K miles. When not used for a day or two on start-up the engine runs very rough. I have new plugs and wires. Truck is great otherwise.

Just a thought, but is it possible that it's outside air temp. related? Using older carb lingo, is it possible that the engine is choked too much causing this problem. Excuse the ignorance if I'm out in left field. I'd like to find what's causing the problem and solve before I'm left sitting.

Thanks in advance for your response

talk with your dealer about the 02 sensor. Replacing it seemed to work in mine.
