One thing to consider is that the lightning motor is 2v. The bored out to 5.0 blocks are 4v cobra motors.

 

Thanks everyone for your posts. Supercharging or turbocharging probably would cost as much as buying a 5.4 motor and computer to run it. Through some research I've done it turns that this truck sans tach is actually turns less than 2000 rpm at 70mph with the 3.55 gears and the inch taller tires I put on recently. So for the money it would cost switching to 3.73 or 4.10 gears would probably give me what i want for around a grand or less. Thanks again guys!
