Question Fuel Pump, Need Help

My truck has been acting weird for the last week or so. It struggles to crank when I turn the key. It will turn over for a split second and then die. I have to give it gas as if it was a carbeurated engine to get it started. The truck is a 99 5.4 ORP with 60,000 miles. Could it be the fuel pump or the fuel pump relay? Any advice would help. Thanks.

Basics first, have you changed the fuel filter????A dirty IAC valve may prevent it from idling..Air filter is good???

Struggling to crank sounds like a bad battery.

fuel loss

I changed the fuel filter a few weeks ago and the air filter about 2 months ago. Perhaps, I should reset the computer. The problem has only happened three or four times and it always cranks eventually. Since I just changed the fuel filter it could be air in the line, but it happened 2 months before the new one. So I don't know what it could be. I am going to run some seafoam through the motor this weekend and maybe that will help. The truck also has a rough idle and a constant marble in a can rolling around on acceleration. Thanks for the reply. Any more advice?
