Valvoline
Penzoil
Castrol
Exxon

With in store discount and mail in rebate...cost is .89/qt

My first choice would be Castrol, then Valvoline, and then Exxon. I would be comfortable with any of them. The reason I would select Castrol as my first choice is because I think it is easier to find than the other two.

As for Pennzoil.....(again just my opinion) I have never used it because of all of the stories that I have heard about it causing sludge build-up inside of the engine.

Since you didn't pay me much for my input, I'll stop now.

i used castrol once,put it in ten min later spun a bearing never again

I used Castrol exclusively in my last truck w/purolator purone filter. It had 148K mls. when i sold it and it kept on going.
