Question ATI PROCHARGER kit for the 5.4 and 4.6

well i got some stuff from ati in the mail today,it only about a year late for me.i got a power dyne for my truck.well the price is 3,896 usa.it is a 8- to 9 psi system with an intercooler and p-1sc blower part # for the 5.4 is 1fg211-sci and the 4.6 is 1fh211-sci. they claim 60 to 65 % gain over stock.well for the money i think i will stay with a power dyne.hell the eaton cost only 3500 to 3700 for all the low end you can handel.i spent 1900 on my power dyne.and with all that money i saved i got heades,exhaust,chip,t-body,ingion=wires,spacer a ported one.i would not buy it for the money,i just put this up for anyone that my be looking for this.if i was going to spend that much i would get the eaton.EATON GETS MY VOTE,AND NO RE-COUNT ABOUT IT.well just my .02 well if you do want an ati here is the #913-338-2886.and this is the price from ati not a store.the store price my be less then their price.

JMC - your considering a SC now to, right? I would have have been saving up for one this whole time if I new the tranny the could hold up to that much added power.

------------------
black 97' x-cab 4x4, 5 speed 4.6, black westin nerf bars, pilot ground searchers, borla SS split rear exhaust, K&N genII, bosch +4 plugs, superchip, flexalite electric fan, v-tech oval side window covers, IAS shocks

premier 720, pioneer 6cd changer, 12 premier sub, premier componets, 2 soso amps

still to come: new spark plug wires, new rims and tires, maybe a supercharger eventually.

Question

Crash! -
Will Ford warranty the piston slap since you have the blower installed? I was told any drivetrain problems after SC install are not covered under factory warranty because it is usually because the engine is not designed to handle it. Is this the case?

Crash,!

Thanks for the info.

Capt'n O,

I did not think the POS would hold the power. I am on my second tranny and rear end and I only have 37,000km (22,000 mi). I guess the only way to find out is to try one and see
