Question stats on 4.6L

I'm soon to put 35" meats on my 97 F150 4x4...my question is with the stock setup 3.55 Limited-Slip, what kind of power loss can i expect? I'm worried about not being able to spin those meats in the sand. I know the new 4.6L are more powerful...what about 97s, and what can i do to help that if i squeeze those 35s on there? any help would be great...

The three most popular mods are (in no part. order):

1. Superchip +26HP, +40FT-LB
2. Intake system (K&N or Airaid) +10HP
3. Cat-back Exhaust +10-12HP

These are dyno tested number from an independant tester with a very good dyno.
So the numbers are correct.

If you wnat more as everyone always does, I did:

ASP Underdrive pullys +8HP
Dynomax Headers +12HP

Next on list of mods (as I am soon to go to 35" BFG's) is a gear change to 4.56's. It's not cheap but it will let you go with the larger tires and not suffer any ill effects.

Go to the online store of this site and you will find how to get several of these items.
Go here if you want to find out more info on the superchip. https://www.f150online.com/scpp/index.html

Cool

In addition to the above I would highly recommend 4:10 gears.
