Long-Lewis Ford,Birmingham. Exercise in futility!!
Like MikeTn above I dont buy this either. You should tell them--in writing--"thanks for the appology but the only thing that will fix your reputation to me--and to the thousands of other readers of the message boards on F150online.com--is if you fix my truck."
I would send this along with other correspondence you have on this to Mr. Ford and Mr. Nasser in Dearborn. You shouldnt have to put up with this.
As an aside, I do not own a ford right now, but I have two jeeps. I have dealt with two jeep dealers in two different cities parts and service depts (more than I care to). And I have experienced nothing but very good service and interest in my vehicles from both. It's one reason I wouldnt mind buying another jeep. But I need a truck.
One of the jeep dealers also does Fords (Linclon-Mercury, actually). I dont know if chrysler treats and trains it's dealer service depts different than ford but I find it appaling that ford can afford to have dealer service depts mistreat customers. They just cant afford it. The car business is too competitive.
