Question Airforce One Intake

First, thanks to all the people that post information on this message board. It is so much easier to make decision when you have the opportunity to learn the ins & outs experienced by other........ enough of that.

Based upon what I have read here I believe I want to purchase an Airforce One Intake. However, I do have some questions that I am hoping I can get answered.

1. Who manufactures this product?
2. Web address?
3. Is SUV Specialties the only place to purchase one?

Any further help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

Cool

Check out the review of the AirForce One vs. the Airaid in ********* How-To section. Said the performance was a wash, but that the AirForce One build quality and design was noticably better. I'm going with the AirForce One. I couldn't find it in their store, but I would call Roger Lemere directly.

Good luck,
Mike

Unhappy

ZenAudio,

Thanks for the reply. I have read that article / review and that is part of the reason I am interested in purchasing one. Their link for purchasing goes to SUV Specialties web site.

I have made some call around Dallas and noone has heard of it or so they say. Searching online for information other than on these two sites, so far has not produced anything. I even asked Jeeves........he wanted me to join the Airforce.

I was wonder if the manufacture had a web site....maybe they could give purchasing alternatives.

Hopefully someone will come through.

Thanks again

Cool

We bought our V8 kit from www.partsforyourtruck.com and have a kit for our V6 on a waitlist from SUV Specialties. I called them toll free from their ad in Truckin (888) 788-4648. I think that RV Performance and California Custom USA are also selling them. I saw their ads in one of these magazines. They are made by AirForce One Performance Industries according to my shipping box.

I got mine at partsforyourtruck.com also. They have excellent customer service. There was some backorder confusion from their supplier, and they upgraded my shipping to next day air at no additional charge so that I would have it on the same day as originally promised. I'm under the impression that SUV Specialities is the manufacturer, and that partsforyour truck is the only reseller at present.

The installation was fairly straightforward, although the instructions could be better written, and it definitely seems well made. The stainless tube is very rugged, about 1/8" thick walls.
