I was asking soem questions the other day on hear about my fuel pump problems on an 87 mustang LX 5.0
It now turns out I am getting power the the pump but it will not turn on. The pump is fine i tested it I put a new relay in. If i test the wires at the pump i get around 11volts and when i tested the battery i got around 13 volts(the car was hooked to my truck with jumper cables. It will not turn a pump on or even light a test lamp I am confused. It is getting 11 volts right out of the relay also. SHouldn't that be enough power to light a test lamp and run a pump. I need help
