I need some help here from any of you that recieved a new motor for any reason. Can any of you remember if your new motor came with a new computer or did they use your existing one. I have been trying to get that information out of the dealer but after 3 months of them holding my truck in their shop and lying to me about various subjects, (it's a long sorry story), I'd rather get the information from someone else. I need the info soon since I would like to order a Superchip before the prices go up after the 18th of this month. Thanks

 

When my engine was replaced in my 99, they left the original computer in there, and just re-flashed it.......Don't know what another dealership might do though.
