I apoligize if I my seem to be a pest but I am desparate this part cost $188.00+tax.
If you could open your air box and describe what they did at least I would know if I need to buy a new one. My truck has been down since friday and ordering one takes 4 days.
thanks for your time.

Even if you find out what his looks like, that won't change the fact that you may have damaged the sensor itself. I think you may just have to bite the bullet and get a new one and chalk it all up to experience.

Exclamation

code in computer says fuel to lean runs terrible and money is no problem but I want better performance not stock goal (THE ULTIMATE V6) hay its in my blood just need to get more air to pass by the senser just want to know what f150freak had done to his because my senser is fine but the housing I modified for I figure 30% more air flow.

It looks like they just honed it out a few mills. it looks like they didn't touch the center peice(pickup, contacts, whatever its called). Again look at one of your previous posts to me and there is a web address there. They did the work for me and could describe the process much better than I could. If you missed the first time the address is http://www.d6racing.com/

Are you porting the MAF because there are no aftermarket parts available?

The answer is yes. I checked all over no one carries an aftermarket or high proformance senser. I finaly got the truck up and running I ported the sampling tube to compansate for the additional air flow I am getting. The truck runs like a bat out of hell. I don't advise this because it takes a lot of trial by error(check engine light). But it was worth the $0 cost upgrade. If anyone does this make sure to remove the probe from the housing so you don't damage it.
