Angry WIRES!!

Ok guys an gals,
It's time for spark plug wires. I got to speak with MSD tech support yesterday and they informed me that they don't have a listing yet on 8.5mm super conductor wires for 97-00 F-150 4.6s. They also warned me against using their mustang 4.6 wires on the truck because of boot design and wire length.

What else is out there. I have 30k miles on my stock wires and they are showing signs of arching. I would like to install the wires at the same time I install the +4s.

Thanks in advance for any help or guidance.

TREADMARKS: MSD is right on with their answer to you. I ordered em from Summitt & endured a solid week of grief. The boots for the 4.6 Mustang are too big in diameter. MSD (A real nice guy named Joe Pena) advised me to return em, which I did. He also offered to make me a set for free, if I sent him a set of Motorcraft wires, so he could use the boots. Instead, I opted to use The Holley wires (50 ohm per foot), & haven't had a problem. I still might take Mr Pena up on his offer, & I mean no slight towards MSD. The Holley wires work fine, but man, are they hard to install. Allow yourself lots of time. Look around the threads & you'll find my truck listed. Hope this helps you make your decision.
