Sorry I'm not sure if this is the right section for this post . . . probably not . . .

I get nothing but hot air coming out of my vents when I use the heater (same temp whether the guage is on hot or cold). Any ideas what may be causing this?

First I had 2 O2 sensors go . . . now this, I hope this isn't a continuing trend . . . I may be trading it in earlier than I thought

 

You don't say what buggy you're driving, I'll assume its a Couger.

On most cars there is a valve that opens and closes when you activate the temp selector ( it allows more or less hot coolant into the heater core) If this valve is stuck open you are going to get nothing but hot air (I resemble that remark)

Get someone to sit in the car and slide the the selector back and forth while you are under the hood, sometimes the mechanism is out in the open and easy to fix.

Anyone else have ideas?

It's a 97 F-150 4x4

I'll give your suggestion a try . . . hopefully the valve just needs to be tinkered with a bit
