Engine Tempature Gauge Problem

Engine Tempature Gauge Problem
I own a 1995 F-150 4x4 with a 4.9 6cyl engine and a automatic transmission. The tempature gauge is inop with the key in the run position but operates fine in the acc. position. Any ideas or know any tech bulletins on this problem?

I just had this problem with my '96 150.
In my case it was the gauge assembly.
Do a search of the message bases here on 150 online and you will find two messages threads involving this tempermental temp gauge with the 92-96 model years.
Search the "ENGINES" and "PRE-97 MODEL YEARS"
forums and these messages may help you out.
