Nope, 1996 was the last year you could get a 300. Since '97, the base engine in most F150 models is the 4.2L V6 (256 cid, I think). It's rated at around 200-205 HP, way more than the old 300, even though it may not put out the torque. Base models with V6's can be had for around 14K-15K. Hope I answered your question.
