You might want to re-state your question. The "best" to some is not the "best" to others.... Be more specific!

Example:

Going from a 2.5" to a 3" will kill low end torque and increase high end HP.
It might also decrease MPG.
(theoretically speaking)

However, it might also sound deeper and better to you?

What r your objectives????

I guess you answered my question. However what I'm after is more response off the line. More pick up.

Cool

If more power is what you want with little or no extra sound, then I recommend the Gibson Sweptside. I installed it on my truck last week. Powers up, fuel mileage is up, and sound is about the same. Maybe a little more roar when you get on it, but it's not even noticeable cruising on the interstate at 75.

BTW, you may want to look around the "Exhaust" and "Exhaust Systems" message boards for more info.

Talking Best exhaust setup

What is the best setup for a new 5.4L Super Crew? I have read various opinions on this subject? Should I go with 3" exhaust or 2.5"

I do not want my truck to sound like a trucker laying on the jake brake either. So will a Flow Master 50 series be OK?

Any help would be appreciated.
