Post Power Aid TBI Spacer

Has anyone tried the PowerAid TBI Spacer on their 4.6 or 5.4 engines? If so, was there a noticable increase in torque below 3000 rpm?
Appreciate your input.

Exclamation

There was a noticable whistle (mfg said this was normal) below 3000 rpm and .10 mpg less avg in my case.

I didn't drive mine long enough without it to notice the difference in torque. There have been a few post here and in other groups about it. You might try searching here and Dejanews.com.

Question

I had an earlier post with the same question. It seems alot of these "devices" have been sold, but no one can attest to the OEM claim of more HP and torque.

Lightbulb

I've read articles where a 1 inch spacer would give noticable increases in torque and hp when used between a carb. and the manifold, but haven't run across any articles on it's use with a TBI. Checked Dejanews.com, no luck. I have a 98 NASCAR Special Edition with a K&N FIPK, Hypertech Power Programmer, Jet 180 degree thermostat and Gibson Super Truck catback exhaust. The Truck runs great. A few years back I had a 91, Toyota, Turbo charged MR2. With a single turbo, the spool time gave you a sudden boost in power at about 3000 rpm. This truck is the same way. At 2800 rpm it's like a turbo has finally spooled up and kicked the boost in, the power really kicks in. I'm looking for something to give me a boost in torque below the 2800 rpm point.
Any thoughts on this?
tks, OMEGA5
