Post Here are the numbers!!

Went to the track last night.98 degrees 85% hum.Terrible air!! Truck went 16.61@83 mph got beat by lots of Hondas and Nissans. Should have taken my 93 Cobra. Any way, the truck is much more responsive with the exhaust and I have no complaints. I definitely like the tone of the exhaust. The Delta flows are much better than the standard Flows. I need to talk to Mike at Superchips about the shift points though, It shifts from 1st to 2nd @5500 rpms and from 2nd to 3rd @4700 rpms. By holding it in 2nd longer I was able to pick up .20 and 1 mph in the 1/4 mile. Stilll think the chip is the best bang for the buck. It is also fun to run Chevys down the interstate without the speed limiter. Truck is much more fun now than it was 4 weeks ago.I just sold a 1993 Lightning that wasn't this much fun. Next mod will be a 3:73 gear. My 60 ft times were pathetic @ 2.38 as a best. Also will be selling all my parts I bought to convert my truck over to a Gen 2 Lightning.Look on Classified section. This web site is awesome.

Dont mean to put you down, but my 94 Corolla (auto) would do mid to low 16's in the 1/4, STOCK!

I would think your 60 foots were pretty good for a heavy truck! A stock 2000 Z28 does 2.0 to 2.1's on average. Guys sruggle to get into the high 1's...

Why wasn't your Lightning any fun? I should think it did high 14's for that year?

A cold morning, say 50, might have gotten you into the 15's....

Good luck!

You right Rand, just about anything that rolls of the showroom floor these days is capable of running in the 16's. My only consolation was that I could out run the Escort sports that were there. After going to the Corral and putting in all of the numbers it looks like I am generating about 200 horses at the rear wheels. Thats about all you can ask for from a basically stock truck.

Clayfordham, Oh well you're truck isn't doing too bad after all its was made to haul and tow and work, not race. Good luck.

BTW isn't it WMS Volocity Tube rather than FMS? see below

Oh yeah, it's Oxford White with crome wheels, Legacy shell & custom grill!
