Ok guys, here’s a technical question. A good friend of mine has found me a super charger off of a ’99 Lightning.(he owns a good size junk yard here) My question is will it work on my 2000 5.4L 4X4. What other mods would I have to do? What other parts would I need? The guy that has the L replaced his charger with a different kind, and is willing to sell the stock unit. Is it worth $600 if it will work, or am I throwing away my money. All help with this is greatly appreciated.

For $600 you bet your a$$ it is worth it. but you didn't say if it was just the supercharger or both supercharger and the manifold. To see what parts you need I would call Ford Racing performance parts and tell them what all you have or will have. Also you should ask the guys in the lightning forum about this, im sure they could tell you alot more than I can.
