Headers
ksChaper,
Yes, I added the JBA cat forward headers. Prior to adding them, I had the Flowmaster Force 2 exhaust system and the superchip. I liked two things that the headers accomplished. 1) The exhaust note changed just a little, making it a little more throaty. 2) I could feel a little increase in power at WOT. It wasn't as much as the superchip, but was noticable. The only issue I have with the headers is their cost and the cost to install. I paid about $479 for the headers and another $200 to install them. I did, however, have my superchip reprogrammed for the headers, which acordding to Mike T., added another 5 hp. All in all, I'd recommend them as a 3rd or 4th step mod, after the superchip, K&N, and cat-back exhaust. The mechanic at the shop where I got the headers installed said that the JBA headers were the best he's seen for the F-150. You can buy them on F-150 online, which is where I got mine.
Good luck, and let us know what you decide.
