According to Mike Troyer (SuperChips) their testing shows they are about the same performance wise and price wise, for some reason Mike prefers Air Raid. I asked why yesterday, but he must have missed it as I posted in "Engines", I will ask again today in the "Computer Chips" Topic, where he will be sure to see it.

The main difference between the two, is that for a 97-99 F150 the K&N has a carb certification.
I looked into both and got the K&N because it is certified to pass a smog test. I bet they both would pass a smog test, but the little smog cert sticker gives me some peice of mind.
The K&N was a breaze to install, feels sturdy, and is working(and sounding)Awsome.
