Unhappy Annoying detonation

I can hear it as soon as I step on the throttle (sort of a tinny sound.) I had the truck in at Ford. They put their diagnostics on it and claimed all the codes check out allright. They agree with me that their is definitely a problem but do not know what to do about it.

I ran chevron techron through it with no results. Ford still thought it was a carbon problem so they ran some kind of powerwash carbon cleaner through it. But it didn't help at all. I also cleaned the MAF.

Any ideas?? Would too much exhaust backpressure cause it? (clogged cats)? The truck also seems low on power. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

P.S. I love this site!!!!

You will find posts about pinging, but the simplest fix to date has been to clean your MAF sensor with a Q-tip and rubbing alcohol. The problem seems to plague the K&N users especially after they clean it for the first time and re-oil.
