Installed my Outerwears
I finally installed my Outerwears pre-filter on my K&N filter...fits very good. I got the red one and it cost $21.65 plus S&H. For the cone-shaped K&N (RE-0945) on the 5.4 engine, you need Outerwears part # WR24-125-75. Or just tell the guys there what you want and they'll know the part #. Nice folks, too.
I was concerned a little that the Outerwears might cause some airflow restriction but I didn't notice any loss of power.
