Cool PART # FOR BOSCH PLATINUM +4 SPARKPLUGS FOR "99" 5.4?

HI!... Well guys I now have 53,000kms on my truck and have decided to finally change my sparkplugs. I would like to buy the BOSCH PLATINUM +4 sparkplugs, but every where I go they tell me there is no such plug for the "99" 5.4 yet! I know some of you guys with the 5.4 have got these plugs. So would you be so kind to list the part # for them. And tell me how you like, or disliked them after you installed them.

THANKS - NEAL "the h.p freak"

I don't know the part number for the 5.4l off hand, but I have put those plugs in other vehicles and I would say, don't waste your time. They do nothing for performance or gas mileage. I even noticed a rougher idle with those plugs.

Huge waste of money if you ask me.

If it were not such a pain in the butt to change them more often, the best plug you could put in this truck is a copper core plug. Platinum doesn't conduct for crap and causes hotspots in your cylinders, pinging, poor performance. The reason they last so long is because they don't conduct!

Dont waste your money on the +4s.

I had them in a 4.0L ranger and beyond starting quicker, did nothing for performance or milage. When I removed them, 4 out of 6 were only sparking to one electrode.

WASTE OF MONEY

Question

Has anyone successfully changed the rear plugs on the 5.4?
I got 5 of them changed last night but it looks like I need to remove the fuel rail to access the back 1 on the passenger side and the back 2 on the drivers side.
If anyone has any tips on what you've done Id like to know.
Disassembling all that junk will turn it into a all day project
