Question Platinum gas saver???

They claim 22% better fuel economy with the platinum gas saver. (www.gassaver.net/main.html)

A friend installed one on his Grand Prix and is very impressed. I am considering one and wonder if anybody has any experience. They do offer a full money-back guarantee!
Thanks all.

The company that owns the patent for this technology is called PVITech (www.pvitech.com), and they've been installing them for over 20 years with fabulous results.

Their technology is highly sophistocated so it often gets written off like rip-offs you hear about (fuel line magnets come to mind).

A gentleman is testing one for the Taurus Car Club of America and his results are due out shortly. For only $100, this could be a nice addition to your day, especially those that have to use higher octane fuels due to chip-modifications.

I have spoken to the president of the company and he's extremely knowledgable.

Give it a shot, its worth it.

Personally I can't believe the company's still in business. I tried that product on my 5 liter Mustang about 8 or 9 years ago and saw ABSOLUTELY NO CHANGE (good or bad) in gas mileage. I monitored the MPGs for 5 fillups before I installed it and 5 fillups after. They did however honor the money back guarantee.

I've tried these on other Ford pickups around fifteen years ago, with no change. Mostly a "gee whiz" gimmick left over from the oil embargo days of the 70's. Save your money.

It's really quite simple. The frizzulator converts the discombobol matrix of the fuel into a polydoodal hexabong. This setup creates the optimum mogulation ratio, and hence an increase in mileage inversely proportional to the money in your wallet.

Seriously, if anything makes a difference in mileage, it's the additive (and the people who see the difference were using crappy fuel). Platinum vapor? It's a catalyst!
