Question ZMax additive anyone?

Hi, had anyone put this stuff in their engine? The Ford dealership here in NC is selling them on their lobby showroom, their ZMax bottles had labeled "dealer formula" and the one selling at Pepboys doesn't but 20.00 cheaper plus you get three other bottles with the package. I know it may be a waste of money but anyone got good results or feedback from it? Thanks.

Personally I dont waste money on any additives to the oil. Most all of them have some downside. I instead just run synthetic Amsoil. Works great, extended drain intervals, etc....

For the price of like the Zmax system, you can flush and fill the engine with synthetic.

Just a thought. Matt

When Slick 50 came out it was supposed to be the greatest thing. Afterwards teflon was determined to be bad for engines by the manufacturer Dupont. I would be hard pressed to believe anything that is advertised on a hour long infomercial.

Thumbs down

Most of the cars that I've bought say to avoid additives in the owner's manual.

Green giant I used the z max in my truck .I didnt gain any milage increase (they claim like a 10% gain)It seemed to free it up slightly though.Personally I would go with synthetic oil amsoil or mobil 1 after motor is broken in.
