OK.. Here's my question... If your facing your truck's engine bay, and disconnect the air filter housing (like when replacing the air filter,) f you look inside the housing on the left or passenger side of the air filter housing, there is what looks like a sensor inside some type of metal housing about 3-4 inches inside the tube (ou 'housing'.) Behind that is another 'sensor' (I believe) of some type that looks completely different (and even has wires feeding to it from outside the airfilter housing.) Am I correct in assuming the first 'sensor' that is right there when opening the air filter housing is the MAF sensor? If this is correct, what is that sensor with the wires leading to it from outside the housing? Also, is it necessary to acutally take out the MAF sensor when cleaning it and then reinstall it? I had read in the past this was unnecessary, and that it is much easier to just clean the MAF sensor while it is installed in place, then after it dries to just reinstall the clamp that holds the airfilter housing together.

Bunch of wires = MAF.

Besides that, mine does not have any other sensors nearby other than the AIT sensor which is further down the intake. Maybe they were close together in the factory airbox but I doubt it.
