Question RPM Redline

Hi All,

Can any one tell me what the redline RPM is on the 4.6. I checked the owners manual and nothing is listed. I have a 4.6 with a 5-speed manual and that would be helpful for me. Thanks

If i'm not mistaken, I believe the newer trucks (mines a 99 SC) don't technically have a redline anymore... they have a 'rev-Limiter' installed that will only let the truck Rev up so high....that way you really don't have to worry about toasting yur engine.
