Wink

There's no need. The Avalanche is BUTT ugly! This boxy thing which comes with only tires that are round(ed).

Either you have a truck you you have something with barely an open trunk. Your choice.

Why would Ford want to compete in that market? The Avalanche is gimicky. It will be a rattle trap and will leak air and water. Besides, the SuperCrew is a better compromise.

No, i'm sayin ugly that thing looks like.. well lets not bring it up! Anyway i think the Focus could compete with that ugly damn thing. Make it a desert package(AWD) and it'll compete.

Avalanche? I call it the Mudslide, 'cause it's that ugly. It's GM's followup to the Aztek (ooh, that hurts). But, remarkably, they seem to be selling okay down here in TX (sad commentary). It's kinda gimmicky, as will be the Cadillac Escalade EXT.

As for the "convertibility", ever ridden in the bed of a pickup on a dusty dirt road? I have, and I can't imagine people opening these things up, especially with the windows down, unless they need to carry some long objects home like lumber from the home improvement store.

How could anybody go look at a Supercrew and an Avalanche and still buy an Avalanche? That has to be one of the ugliest vechiles ever produced. Of course here in Texas they are selling like hotcakes.

It couldn't look worse if it had been in an avalanche. It gets plenty of attention, I'm not sure if that's good though.

I laugh at the commercial where the two guys are flying on a super dusty field and the one guy wants to switch drivers. The other guy pops out the back window and opens up the 'bed'. I wish they'd show them after one minute of driving like that in the dust. I can see every inch of the interior covered with dust. Butt ugly in every way.
