92 F150 Fuel Pump

I am getting ready to replace my front fuel pump on my 92 F150, and was wondering if i should just drop the tank or take off the bed to access the pump like i recently did on my 92 ranger. What is the best way to replace the fuel pump?

It might actually be easier to lift the bed off. I just replaced the rear tank on my '95 not long ago, and the time spent dropping the tank could all be avoided by lifting the bed off.

If you've got some extra hands to lift it, I would take the bed off.

The pump change would be easier, and you'll also have good access to check for rust or any other concerns you might have.
